Summer Camps |

Each Summer Camp is a week long. Camps start in July and go through the end of August. Camps are for ages 3-5 and 5-8. You can register at YBM or mail in your payment directly. Please indicate what class you would like to enroll in with a first and second choice. Please provide your name, your child's name and d.o.b, your address, phone, and email address.
YB Summer Rock Camp July 21-25 & August 25-29, 2008 3:30-5:30pm ages 8-12, $200 for camp Come and jam with your very own rock band! Have you ever dreamed of joining a band...well now's your chance! Join up with eight musicians and create a show of the summer. Yellow Bird teachers will be there to guide and encourage you to rock! Last day of camp we will have a concert to show off our bands talents! This is a must do if you have ever wanted to jam in a band!

This summer Yellow Bird Music is offering a
children's drumming camp. Join this magical journey
through the sounds of world music. This week long
camp will include high energy, imagination and fun!
Each child will have the opportunity to explore the
sounds of the African Djembe drum through music and
dance. Yellow Bird Music will provide shakers,
guiros, slide whistles, and other instruments to
get you off your feet! Don't miss this fun
opportunity to move to the sound of the drum!
Camp material's include: Children's Djembe Drum and Putumayo CD. Cost: $125.00
On The
Road

Jump in a bus named "Van Go" and head to imaginary
locations such as the carnival, a summer cottage,
the beach and more. Relive your childhood,
with your child. Every song is likely to
revive a memory from your summer's past. Five
fun days filled with lessons featuring music,
stories, art and movement. Let's jump in "Van
Go" and hit the road!

materials include: Hardcover Book, Wooden Frog
Guiro Instrument, CD, and Home Activities Poster.

Confetti Days: July 14-18, August 4-8 & August 25-30, 2008 1-3pm ages 3-5 Throw a new party every day. Ride a carousel inside the classroom. Play a balancing game and walk on the web of ropes. Learn colors and sing the Spanish song "De Colores," "Pop Goes the Weasel," and "Looby Loo." Camp Materials include: CD, pair of Confetti Bells, Story Kit and Picture Folder set. Cost: $180.00
Around the World: July 28-August 1, 2008 1:30-3:30pm ages 5-8 Take an imaginary trip—exploring the exotic cultures of Germany, Japan, Africa, England, and Mexico. Play the native instruments. Drape sheets over cardboard boxes and sing over the German mountain tops. Toss peanuts on the floor and bring good luck to one's home in this Japanese custom. Send messages in Nigeria with "talking drums." Camp Materials include: CD, Arts and Craft materials, Picture Folder set, and Travel Bag. Cost:$180.00
